Filiz Mungan (b. 1980) is a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator based in Bursa, Turkey. She studied painting at Bursa Anadolu Fine Arts High School and graduated in Interior Architecture from Anadolu University’s Faculty of Fine Arts. She has also worked as a lecturer at Eskişehir Technical University’s Faculty of Architecture. After working as a design R&D director for various brands, she founded her own studio, Mungan Art & Design, in 2016.
Her work includes children’s book illustrations, editorial cartoons, and contemporary oil paintings. Mungan values environmental and animal rights as much as human rights and continues to paint with a dream of a more beautiful and fairer world.
